Misreading of the day

Wmm misread the BBC news headline "New Homs shelling 'kills dozens'" as "A new home is found for a collection of a dozen shells" and went into a thought about a dozen normal typical small seashells bought from a shop by a child, twenty years later being given to a new owner who forgot about them five minutes later, and it might make the headlines somewhere where such a story seemed very important.

  2. Thank you very much for your comment. I like the idea of perhaps writing a novel or something along that line. It's a delicate matter maybe of wanting to write something that deserves to be published in a world where quite possibly there are too many books being published as it is and a lot of them are rubbish. One might wish that it should be the best books get published and maybe my writings will become as good and be worth publishing.

  3. your versions are always better, more interesting/imaginative, and gentler on the soul. i try not to use absolutes, such as Always, unless warranted. i just found your blog, would've been here a long time ago, had i known.
